バッターボックス裏に日本語の広告があるのに気づき、「アメリカに広告を出すなんてさすがWBC」と思った人も多いのではないだろうか。
ところがあれ、看板があるのではなくCGで表示されているだけ。実際はグリーンのパネルがおかれているだけなのだ。
この広告インフラを提供しているのは「SPORTVISION」社。もともとは広告の会社ではなく、スポーツに関するあらゆるハイテク撮影技術をもった総合企業である。
この広告は「VirtualAds」という技術で放映されている。
